What function does narrative serve in our lives? Why do we tell stories?
A narrative story serves the purpose to be able to elaborate on certain events and happenings within our lives. It also includes dialogue between the people you encounter, whether its fights, happy moments, or even the most secret thing. It allows us to tell people of the places we visit and the people that are important to us. We tell stories to get these things out on paper and tell others. I know that when I have happy experiences or memories, I like to share them with people. We also tell them because then they will be carried on to other people.
