*SIGH* Its only day one of the semester and I sit here feeling overwhelmed already. I received the homework pack for my Algebra class and the first one listed is 1-91. 91 problems for my first homework assignment, I admit I died inside a little. I just want to get to where I am supposed to be. Lets think about it, am I really going to need fractions, and converting decimals to fractions in my career field? No, the answer is no! I know that this will all be worth it but at the moment I'm feeling a little overwhelmed and not looking forward to the upcoming months because like I said It's only day one!! So here's to hoping I make it out of this semester alive!
I know exactly how you feel! The only thing I can think of to use math for is when I have to do bills, but in my daily life? Nothing more than the basics. It is even more frustrating since I'm really bad at it XD
ReplyDeleteHang in there though, gotta get those class credits.
Thank you :)
ReplyDeleteI tend to get the same overwhelming feeling when I start to get big assignments early on. Remember though, it's still early on. Too Early to stress yet! Just take it one assignment at a time.
ReplyDelete:) p.s - It's very hard to read your font with your selected background.. a red or orange hue font would probably work nicely!
I can completely relate. When I first started taking college classes I would say things like "when will I ever use this philosophy class or this religion class?" but once I got into the world of business I found that knowing how people think is incredibly valuable. The point is, you never really know what you're going to need to know in the future.
